General Responsibilities
-
Demonstrate working knowledge of oil & gas industry standards such as HSE, API, IEC, ASTM, ANSI, and relevant Vietnamese regulations for safe operation and compliance.

Ensure full understanding of Vietnam Oil & Gas regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

Maintain strict confidentiality of the company’s operations and activities.

Build and sustain strong professional relationships with customers and partners.

Adhere strictly to the company’s reporting lines and communication procedures.
Main Responsibilities
-
Participate in meetings with customers and partners.
-
Proactively coordinate with customers and partners to prepare documentation for planned maintenance (PM) and/or unplanned maintenance (UM) activities.
-
Collaborate with customers and partners to execute PM/UM works on site.
-
Assist in preparing all required documentation for equipment maintenance, repair, overhaul, or replacement.
-
Prepare and submit service reports to customers as required.
-
Support the development of maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with Vietnamese and international standards.
-
Evaluate and select equipment as required for maintenance projects.
-
Work closely with customers and partners to manage Min-Max Inventory levels, ensuring sufficient spare parts availability for maintenance and operational activities.

Provide input to the Maintenance Lead for budget planning based on long-term maintenance schedules or urgent customer requests.

Contribute to troubleshooting, repairs, and replacements during unplanned shutdowns to minimize costs and improve equipment reliability for customers.

Implement all directives and assignments as instructed by the team leader.

Ensure all measuring instruments are properly installed and functioning as designed.

Perform functional tests and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve technical issues following established procedures.

Provide technical support and guidance to technicians and operators.

Develop cost-reduction initiatives and should-cost models for wind turbine components.

Research and analyze technical data sheets from competitors.

Prepare engineering drawings, site layout designs, and testing procedures.

Support field service engineers in execution and reporting tasks.
Job Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in onshore/offshore oil & gas facilities or power plants (preferably refineries).

OR at least 3 years of site experience in rotating equipment maintenance with strong hands-on expertise.

Solid understanding of process systems and maintenance procedures.
-
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Proficient in English (both written and verbal).
-
Strong planning, scheduling, and reporting capabilities.
-
Effective team player with a collaborative mindset.
-
Willing to travel for domestic and international assignments.
