Job Title: Crew Member Working on SB Barge

Department: Marine Services Department

Requirements:

  • Education level: Completed at least Grade 9/12;

  • Must hold valid certificates for SB barge crew, including: ATVB Certificate, ATCB Certificate, and TT1 Certificate;

  • Basic knowledge of maritime operations and maritime safety. Candidates with prior experience are preferred;

  • Good health condition and able to swim;

  • Ability to work in a team;

  • Willingness to travel for work;

  • High sense of discipline.

Job Description:

  • Full-time work on tugboats and barges (operating mainly on the Vũng Tàu – Trà Vinh route).

  • Responsible for receiving, storing, and preserving company materials, equipment, and spare parts in containers on barges and tugboats in accordance with proper standards for easy use.

  • Perform maintenance and upkeep of machinery and repaint barges while anchored.

  • Supervise the process of receiving and delivering cargo.

  • Cover and secure tarpaulins after loading cargo to ensure goods remain dry and protected.

  • Handle mooring lines when vessels dock or depart from ports.

  • Clean and tidy the barge after unloading cargo.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the barge team leader and barge management board.

  • Fully comply with all safety, health, and environmental requirements in all related business operations; constantly raise safety awareness and strictly follow the company’s safety procedures during work.
