Chemical Sales Engineer
Job Description
- Prepare tenders and follow-up on Technical Bidding Clarification and Technical & Commercial Evaluation.
- To accurately define technical specification requirements with appropriate departments then seek out potential suppliers to meet those requirements on specification, quality, delivery
- Provide daily sales support operationally such as handling and following up on customer enquiries, quotation, order processing, delivery, invoicing and handling custom documents
- Develop new sales opportunities, pursue sales leads and addresses the needs of larger customers.
- Expedite all goods to ensure goods arrive on time.
- Highlighting problems if there is a delay.
- Liaise with suppliers and pushing on delivery information.
- Dealing with technical queries from customer /suppliers and solving problem
Job Requirement
- Major in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering (University of Polytechnic is preferred)
- Technical background (Chemical, Petrochemical is priority) & Commercial knowledge.
- At least 02 years of work related to Chemical field, Drilling products. Priority has experience working in the oil industry.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to plan and organize workload to meet deadlines.
- Proactive and honestly.
- Hard working under high pressure.
- To be able to travel in both of domestic and oversea.
Skills/training Competences:
- Good at English: Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading, especially in ability of technical documentation reading.
- Computer literate & Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
- Good Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Planning and scheduling skills.
